The team at Universal Raceway hopes you're all doing well and ready to enjoy the summer months.

Our on-road track hasn't generated the amount of interest we anticipated. We built the track, because on-road racers consistently expressed their desire for a track in the GTA; where they dont have to travel 3+ hrs (round trip). *However, club racing turnout has been low-none. *Only two people showed up last night and didn't even run due to the lack of attendance and motivation and we thank those who make an effort to show up and support the track.

Our team genuinely wants to serve you and offer a facility that meets everyone's needs, so we started asking what lacks in our current on-road track and why racers aren't showing up to race. *The most common single answer is: "the track is too small"!

So, we propose this:

If we have at least 10 people committed to racing and some volunteers; the huge off road track will be cleared of jumps, patched/repaired where necessary and converted in-to an on-road track!! *We understand that racers prefer to race on Ozite, but some testing has shown that the carpet we have offers good grip and much less harsh than stones, pebbles and cracks in asphalt. *If attendance is consistent, or grows; we'll consider making other business decisions that include the permanent expansion of the on-road track.

The whole off-road space can be ours (on-road racers) for the next 3 months, so let's try to make this happen and bring on-road racing back to the GTA in all it's glory.
